Kampinos 15k - a short stroll
Spring time brings me again to the Kampinos forrest. Due to lack of time however I decided to make just a short stroll - 15k in the south east part of the National Park.

The new snow made me want to go skiing again. This time cross-country. I was already back in the city and therefore forced to use the only cross-country ski rental in Powsin, Kabacki forrest. Unfortunately I wasn't the only one with this brilliant idea and since it is the only rental I was decided to change cross-country skiing for plain old hiking. Not sure how many k I did, around 10-15k. Can't wait till the weekend and another round of downhill skiing.

As of today I will complete 10 straight days of sporting activities. I know it's not much but it just happened:) Apparently my plan of getting back to shape is paying off.
I hope I can keep it up!

The winter has finally arrived. I gathered my gear and went for a small hiking in the Kampinoski National Park.
The weather was kind of disappointng. All week we've seen temperature go as low as -25 degree Celcius but this Saturday it was only 0/-1 degree Celcius. Sure the real-feel was -5 but still not what I was hoping for.
At least the forrest was nice and white unlike the city.

Another hiking in Kampinos National Park. This time a shorter one (cold weather, and small head injury so I wanted to go easy).

Another weekend in Kampinos forrest.
This time I jumped over the magic barrier of 30k, just a little over... but still.
Enjoy the pics and keep your fingers crossed for the following attempts.

It seems that my running has turned into hiking. All because of work (I know, I know, lame excuse). So this weekend I returned to Kampinos, this big forrest I mentioned last time.
I am proud to report I have completed a 30k walk (or march even). On the way I've discovered some interesting places. Uprising cemetery, natural reconstruction of a medieval castle, and last but not least "the Karpaty mountains"
Enjoy the pictures!

As mentioned previously my training proceeds. However busy time @work forced to change my routine again. Not for long I hope.
To fulfill my original plans I've organized my private walkathon of around 18k+. Also I got myself some trekking sticks (not sure if this is the right word) poles.
My walkathon took place outside the city in a huge forrest (270 km2).
